Switching Gears

We survived - barely. Let's just say there was vomit, and a three-hour delay. A 2:30 a.m. departure, and a 10 hour flight. You get the idea.
BUT, we arrived safely, and that's about all I could ask for.

I'm finally ready to switch gears and get into the Christmas spirit. It's been slow-coming for me this year. I think primarily because I can't believe it's already the holidays. I know it's cliché, but I really feel like it was just January!

In the 48 hours we've been Home, I've seen the earliest snow in South Texas, and have gotten some much "needed" shopping done.

So glad to be joining the festive ranks! Be back soon!

One of my favorite Christmas images! I hope everyone is feeling better, though I suspect being with family and the familiarity of home soothes the soul.

Enjoy being home for the holidays!

Does not sound like much fun at all! I am glad you made it safe.

At least you have gotten some shopping done. I have done absolutely no shopping!! Zero, nothing!!

I always see your mother, maybe I will see you around town sometime.

Take care,
Nicole
