That was quick, right? (Lamp gods are smiling on me this week)
A little hasty, and probably not permanent styling. (Little paws abound at Casa G)
Injection of color and tad of drama with height of lamp = goodness
Terrible lighting for impromptu photo session = arrggghhhh
Next up on this vignette: cooler fabric for that slipper chair.

Boy, you hit the ground running! And you're off to a fabulous start!
Black shade was a good choice. Love the colors together. I see a lot of ginger lamps at goodwills but never a pretty color one. They are always mauve!!!!
it looks gorgeous!
love the lamp paired with the art!
hooray for projects moving along.
I am in love with the colour of that lamp! It looks absolutely gorgeous! :)
way to go! It's funny because I could picture the whole exchange. So glad that you were able to get something that worked. Of course it turned out beautiful!
That one is my favorite! Love the blue.
Love the blue of the lamp- perfect!!
Nothing gets me like a well done vignette! So beautiful! Can't wait to see what you do with the chair!
Your artwork? Bold choice on the lampshade.
When are we going to see the rest of the room?
loving that blue! much much better than before. hehe. send that man out of the room. ask him where he got his decorating degree from.
love it! well done.
;)
ah, very happy!
I inherited 2 identical lamps from my great aunt. They respond very well to gloss spray paint. So if anyone else sees any similar ones at Goodwill - don't let the color keep you from purchasing them!
Much bettah! Love the dramatic black shade.
so much more pleasing.
