Ben said the shade isn't quite long enough - he was promptly asked to leave the room.A little hasty, and probably not permanent styling. (Little paws abound at Casa G)
Injection of color and tad of drama with height of lamp = goodnessTerrible lighting for impromptu photo session = arrggghhhh
Next up on this vignette: cooler fabric for that slipper chair.

Black shade was a good choice. Love the colors together. I see a lot of ginger lamps at goodwills but never a pretty color one. They are always mauve!!!!

I inherited 2 identical lamps from my great aunt. They respond very well to gloss spray paint. So if anyone else sees any similar ones at Goodwill - don't let the color keep you from purchasing them!
