I told my husband I would really love a painting by artist Michelle Armas for Valentines Day. My desire to own one of her colorful abstracts was instant and visceral.
He clearly does not understand the rules of this game...

Her art is really beautiful, I especially like the Buster Keaton. Maybe you can talk your husband into both :o)
So can relate- I was shopping today and saw two mink pillows that I sooo wanted to which he says, it wouldn't be a surprise- totalgame changer since I literally bought and wrapped my own x-mas presents this year (to be fair he was sick but I literally always know what I'm getting.) So today, I actually see something I want, show him, make it easy, and he says no- MEN!!!! I adore Michelle's artwork- so stunning. My fingers are tightly crossed hoping that he smartens up and gets you both:)
Ha! Yes. Not fair. Not what you meant at all. Clearly!
Michelle is so damn talented. My friend Susie of Eye Spy just got one of her paintings and it is DAZZLING.
I love all her paintings! Stunning!
Wow that piece is gorgeous and now I have to have it, well I wish I could have it. Why? Because my name is Zena. =)
boys are dumb
I agree, Ben is not being fair! I hope you all are having a great weekend, it is actually a very nice day here today. I should be raking some leaves or something, but I think I will just stick with blogging!
Tell Ben hello for me, Nicole
Oh God,
Men are so practical.
The painting is jawdropping.
But I must also admit that since we got our mega-Mac this past black Friday, which its huge screen, blogging has become bliss.
I do hope Ben goes in for a twofer ;)
Cheers, Alcira

AHAHA! Men, Here is an idea. Get the mac, then use Zena as a screen saver until you get a commission! I always negotiate the price or commissions for just about anyone, so you will get to have your cake and eat it too!
