Gwyneth on Glee - Thumbs up?

I promise I'll get back to design stuff soon, but...Did you see it? The "Gwyneth" episode of Glee last night? Lawd only knows why I did, with the difference in time zones, the show began at 11 PM, and that's way past this blogstress' bedtime. (Now you know why I'm so out of the loop on current television pop culture.) BTW, immediately downloaded Cee Lo's "Forget You" onto my workout playlist - lurvs it!

So, we now know GP can sing AND dance. Were you throwing pea-green spitballs at your tv? Methinks girlfriend is setting up for a Broadway appearance - it's just a natural course, what with her mother's stage success.
The dance number to Chicago's "All That Jazz" really did have me praising her ballziness at taking risks for the sake of her art, but let's face it, what I was really critiquing was....her face...
You know I'm obsessed with celeb plastic surgery, and I'm always ready to sniff out any work they've had done. Gwynnie's face and complexion look very, very good. I know she takes care of herself, and she's gotten into great shape after wallowing in post-pregnancy blahness, but, I still. think. there's. been. some. tweaking.
Botox for sure - but not too much. Lasers or skin peels too for the radiance, but if she's doing fillers it's very, very subtle.
Like everything else she touches, she has opted for classicism and restraint. Whoever's touching her up is an artist in their own right, and I'd probably give a digit to have them on speed-text.

She was phenomenal!!! However you might feel about Gwenyth, she is a girl that turns everything she touches into gold.

I am excited to see what she does with all this new to me talent. She does look really good...I agree that she has probably had some tweaking....I would probably go for some too if I was in the spotlight often;)

I thought she was cute last night, but last week's really bowled me over. I can't stop watching "Teenage Dream" on youtube. It's become a compulsion.

BTW: If you like the Cee-Lo song, you MUST youtube the video (With the unedited lyrics). It is the cutest thing EVER! Like, could snap anyone out of a bad mood cute.

I agree with you!! Gwyneth was absolutely amazing on Glee! The mash up at the end threw me for a loop but I LOVED IT! Kudos to Gwyneth!

what is going on with her singing at the CMAs!?? crazy. knock knock, your husband is Chris Martin....stay out of the country music circuit. I like country, but they are cooler than that.

i thought she was bananas. i loved it. i think once you look past how unrealistic part of the show is(like you just being fired..um teachers unions would be all over that, and the insane special effects they have for rehersals for no one..ahem umbrella) its brilliant!)
and puck would not have suggested forget you..he wouldve been uncensored! wedding next week! singing bruno mars!

I would be tweaking the hell outta my face if I could afford it!
Did you see the facebook picture of Rachel Zoe? Photoshop or major work, probably a combination of both....
(No, I don't follow her on FB, I saw it on a blog!!) ;)

just saw it tonight and loved it! My husband said "you and Gwyneth teach in the same style" (I'm an elementary school teacher and I gotta confess...he's right!) My only "wha??!" was her hairline when she had it pulled back. What's up with that--it was all one line across her forehead?

I didn't see it but I NEED to- am going to watch online on the weekend. I love Gwenyth so will likely adore the whole thing.

I'm playing catch up and just heard the good news! I'd love to hear more about where you'll be studying...in Brazil or online? I'm thinking about doing the same thing myself. I too have paused a bit considering the amount of moolah I've shelled out for education of the years, but doing what you love seems like it is priceless. Good luck!

I don't watch Glee but I tuned in for Gwynnie b/c she's my fav. She is so very talented, I think she has a great voice, etc. but I thought she was a little clunky and odd dancing. It made me a little uncomfortable watching. Not bad...just ok, I guess. But I'll watch her do anything.

Oh my goodness I loved it! She was actually funny, which I didn't know she could be.

ya know...i wanted to love it...and i do love her. but i was underwhelmed. not just from her...the whole episode was kind of a let down.
i mean she sounded great, she is beautiful and she can act...yeah yeah...but i couldn't get past the bad dancing and gawky movements. i was cringing.
i still love her though.

Gwenyth's got a movie coming out soon where she plays a country singer. Also she was in a movie years ago where she sang (Duets, with Huey Lewis).

Knowing this stuff is why I can't remember anything else.
