Madwoman on a Mission

I feel like I'm racing against Time to get all my little projects associated with Mary's room redo done before Baby G arrives. Not that I'm not enjoying every busy minute. It has been so much fun watching the room transform, little by little each week.

After our successful trip to Warrenton, we still needed a console/side table. Knowing my travel days are limited (or at least, not advisable) I started hitting the internet bigtime in search of a table that would work for the space, and found this one on Wisteria. The price wasn't great, but also wasn't anything near what we've all gawked at on their website.
However, that's the same day I waddled into Tuesday Morning, and staring me right in the face was this wanna-be...
We're still determining what color we'll paint it, and now that I have The Hubster in town, it's likely he'll get roped into helping with this project. Could be a dead-ringer, though, huh? Isn't design fate funny?

I actually I like the one you found better (with a coat of paint of course). It seems lighter.

I mean if I were as close to bringing a brand new baby human into the world as you are I would be lying on an ottoman being fanned with palms...I pretty much would prefer that regardless of the babyhuman situation. Attaway To Go, Woman!

What a great find! I never have that luck at our Tuesday Morning. Although, you've inspired me to go look again. Good luck with the painting!

Alison, I am so IN LOVE with that console from Wisteria. I wanted to use it in our hallway, but it was too deep. I seriously mourned that! :) I love the substitute and can't wait to see what you do with it! xxoo

Good eye, Alison. What a great find. Just read your guest post at Averill's and love your sources. Just the type I use all the time. Especially HomeGoods for lamps... can't even tell you how many I've bought for myself and clients.
New here - I'll stop by again to see what becomes of that console.

I know. Wisteria can be kind of ridiculous. I steal their ideas. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
