I love it when I get updates from my Design Dilemma Divas. This one's a quickie from Jana, who's morphing her sitting room into an ode to Adler with lots of citrus colors grounded in bright, clean white.
Jana was inspired by these Mariposa lamps from ZGallerie...But, why spend when you can have the satisfaction of creating?
Before: Her old, bad-brass floor lamp. After: Girlfriend would make Adler proud!
Deets: $15.00 thrift store lamp. $15.00 HomeGoods shade. White, glossy spray paint. DONE! Way to go, Jana - can't wait to see more!

Great job. My stepmother just turned me onto appliance enamel spray paint and it gives that shiny finish you have on your lamp. Love it.

Ohhh, Adler would be proud!
Oh how I love to spray paint a lamp! I just wish it would stay above 50 degrees here so my spray paint wouldn't run. . ..
You know how I love a DIY project and this is FAB!!
I'm from Argentina and lived in Sao Paulo for a few years. Hope you are liking Brazil. Your blog is so nice!
great job! looks like you paid big bucks for it!
What a great job!
I love the lamp revamp! The inspiring lamps have been on my 'if only' list for some time. I never thought of taking a simple floor lamp and painting it white myself. Great post!
