I could handle it...

I'm a sucker for banquettes, and this one is lovely, indeed...
But, perhaps I could take that bench and recover it in this...

Then, surround the table with an assortment of these...There. My little kitchen Casbah.

Oh boy... I like both options! I am working on a "Banquette"-ish dining room right now in my own house... I'll have to post pictures soon!

Love your vision Alison and I wish I was more open to prints...maybe in 2010 I'll finally get there.

works for me! i was in anthropologie today trying on dresses and in their dressing room was THE most awesome high back tufted settee i have ever seen. i couldn't bring myself to look at the price though.

That would be so, so, SO cool. I love that zig zag print, especially in the navy and orange colorways and either would look amazing with that chair.

I love your fabrics!! I am seeing more in magazines where regular old couches are being pulled up to the table with chairs. It looks fabulous!!

Ok, I think I might love the pendant in that picture. Do you by any chance know who makes that?

Love the chairs, by the way.

Ah, I'm still smarting over a banquette I saw on Craigslist two years ago! I still think about how much more cozy my dining area would be. I love your "Kitchen Casbah" idea. Would definitely be great for dinner parties. Happy New Year!
