First MLHP Giveaway!

You all have been such a gracious group of readers, that I thought it was time to say Thank You - with a unique, Brazilian gift!
Have you ever seen these clever bowls, made from strips of rolled newspaper?  They are a staple of Brazilian handy-crafts, and I absolutely love them!

The first MLHP giveaway includes this bowl!  It is particularly colorful, and has a nice, lacquer finish to ensure durability.  It's the perfect way to add some color and texture to your little vignette!

*If you tweet about, or mention this giveaway in a blog post, put it in another comment, and count them as additional entries.

Entry time will end Friday, Jan. 15th at midnight EST.   Winning comment will be selected randomly.

Good Luck, and Muito Obrigada for your support - it has been wonderful making so many "blog friends."  I'm looking forward to another fun blogging year!

I love these bowls! I love the color that they add. I'm not sure how I'd use it... Maybe as a collection area for sunglasses and pocket contents. Or on the coffee table to corral our remote controls... Definitely somewhere in our family room to I could see it all the time.

Thanks for the giveaway opp!

This bowl is very cool. Love hand-crafted items. I'm follower, too, so please enter me in the drawing! Hm, I think I would place it on my kitchen table (which is an old farm table) and fill it with different fruits, depending the time of year. Lemons, apples or oranges, adding a bit of color to the room. Plus, my kids could just grab a piece of fruit from the bowl for a snack. :)

I would probably use it on my living room coffee table... it would look great stacked on top of some of my large books with a few choice items inside!

Hi, I have been a follower of your blog for a few months now and I enjoy reading your blog. I like the look of the bowl, it is so neat how it is made out of newspapers. I love anything ethnic.

Hmmm...what would I use the bowl for if I won? I would probably display it because it is too pretty to use! Thanks for the giveaway! gmsale at rocketmail dot com

What a fun giveaway Alison~ I love it and would likely display it in our family room somewhere (maybe with my moss and willow balls inside) or in my kitchen with fresh fruit inside.
I've been searching for a giveaway myself and I just can't think of anything...I love that you found something local and SO cool!

Neat! I follow too.
I would probably use it as a catch all for some of my little scrapbooking supplies, instead of the ugly plastic container they're in now. Thanks.

Hey there! I've seen these out and about and think they are so cool! I spy some yellow in that bowl...it may just go in my room I'm working on. :) Or to hold fruit on a kitchen counter. Ohhh the possibilities.

Hope all is well with ya'll!!

Ohhhh...I just LOVE these bowls. One of my neighbors has a collection of them in her kitchen and I'm always admiring them.

I'd love to have it in the nursery (that I'm currently shopping and planning for) as a place to collect the teething rings and small baby accoutrement. It's just so bright and colorful it'd go so wonderfully.

I am a follower and my email is in my profile.

Thanks for such a great giveaway!

I would use it on my shelves for decor and a colorful catch all, so my husband doesn't leave change lying all over the place. I'm already a follower.

If I had it in my hot little hands right now, at this very moment, I would fill it full of lemons and limes which are just dangling from my citrus trees! Yep, that's exactly what I will do!

Thanks for such a vibrantly joyful giveaway!

Neat! I've seen these around, but to be made by hand in a country other than China! Shocking. ;] I can see this sitting on my little kitchen table. The round shapes would compliment each other and inside it would be nice with fruit in the summer and fall and lined with baked goods in the winter months.
