I don't know about you, but great design before and afters are like my porn... Especially when we're talkin' carrara marble subway and hex tiles. Polished Nickel hardware and (original) claw foot tubs...
Here's the (fairly grotesque) before shot.Images borrowed (without permission -tsk tsk) from A Brooklyn Limestone - where I can't get enough of her (I'm living vicariously) reno.

Oh that last shot is a hot mess! Or as the quote from the movie Christmas Story goes...A pink nightmare. Love the redo though.
I just discovered her blog. Her bath is amazing!
I'm obsessed with her house before and after- it is jaw dropping and I love looking at it over and over!
Oh my word. The before is scary and the after is wonderful. Hugs, Marty
Beautiful after! LOVE it!
Incredible. You simply can't go wrong with Carrera marble subway tiles. I hadn't run across this blog before but I LOVE a good reno story -- thanks for sharing, Alison!

O.K., just WHAT bathed in that Pepto bathroom? Eeek! Now the after is another story. Looks like Waterworks inspiration for sure.
Hola from Texas!! Just came across your adorable blog...what a treat to find!
My hubby and I absolutely love Latin America--(we did mission work in Peru, and have a precious daughter adopted from Guatemala)--and I love design--so consider me a new loyal reader!!

P.S. I hope you don't mind, but I am grabbing your button to link to my site! ;)
Don't you just ADORE her style? Dream home material!!
Oh my! That last pic is terrible! But I love that pink wall!
she, and her fab home are the epitome of style and grace...and that before, Oy, I think I just threw up in my mouth a little!
All photos made me gasp- but for different reasons! Love me som b&a's.
What an amazing transformation!
The before shot was horrible in a couple of ways. First the state of the place and also the garish pink.
Vast improvement and the results look very good.
