For those of you who encouraged me to take the plunge...
Still, we lopped off FOUR INCHES, so I'm not totally spineless!
Unfortunately, that's not quite enough to donate to Locks of Love, nor are my chemically-treated tresses particularly preferred, but I do thank this lady for reminding me of such a wonderful organization, and for her plans to donate.
Despite having seen one of the true Goddesses of Haircolor (she's in San Antonio - email me {atexski@yahoo(dot)com} if you want the deets), I still had a bit of cutter's remorse...
But that quickly subsided when I finally got my hands on the Daiquiri Ice I've been dreaming about!

Looks gorgeous! :) I've been thinking of cutting my hair too. It's really hard to manage and style so I usually end up wearing it in a bun. :(
Aww shucks, thanks!
4 inches is still a lot and very very brave. I bet it feels lighter.
It looks wonderful. Great cut.
looks great! is that a little twisty braidy thing in the front?
i was kinda hoping for something drastic so i could live vicariously thru you. ah well...maybe it just means i will have to take the plunge perhaps? chop chop to me??
It doesn't get any better than Daiquiri Ice on a hot summer day.
Jenny:
Yes, I saw a pic of Jen Anniston while I was perusing mags during the FOUR HOURS I was in the salon...anyway, Anniston had this cool, twist-from-the-front-to-the-side thingy that I asked her to try. Was nice - off the face...I'll try do replicate the look - we'll see. ;)
Thanks, ladies!
Looks beautiful! The length is great, and 4 inches is a big change even if you didnt cut it all off...baby steps right?
Ha! You make me laugh! It looks great!!!!
The layers look great! And 4" is a lot of a single cut.
I love that short haircut in the first photo. If I ever return to a really short coif, I may "borrow" that pic. And, daiquiri ice - one of my all-time favs. Have a great day!
I couldn't find a link to your email so I'll ask here. Send me the deets on the colorist in SA. We just moved here and my highlights are looking a little grown-out.
yeah! I always love a good haircut.
It is difficult to have long hair in weather like this! Too hot. Mine goes up in June and comes down in September. While I love Amelie's do, I love having long hair!
Your cut looks great! And so does the Daquiri Ice!
Beautiful cut/color. Taking four inches off in the Texas heat is enough to help a little.
Gorgeous! Looks great! I, too, want the Tatou cut, but it seems to be a fantasy that will stay that way! Yours looks great!!! And I am so laughing. I was in Chicago last week and went into Dunkin/Baskin and had to try the Daiquiri. SO good!
I love your hair. Mine is impossible, huge, frizzy. Short is never as cool than in the pictures.
